A former school complete with grounds.

Kostandenec occupies a magnificent natural setting being surrounded on three sides by limestone cliffs with a river flowing through the valley floor and the village. Already three Brits live here permanently with another twenty or so having bought holiday homes. Kostandenec benefits from being only 5m from the main Razgrad/Ruse highway and less than3m from Rusenski Lom National Park. The whole area is teaming with wildlife. I personally have seen eagles here – what a sight!

The village also offers most things that you would need for your daily business – PO with international telephone, three cafe/bars, two shops, town hall and bus service. There`s even a market every Thursday morning!

Structurally sound but requiring some repair works, this former school could easily be transformed into a large hotel with grounds suitable for building a swimming pool and parking area. The school is situated on top of a hill providing good views and is a definite landmark from almost anywhere in the village. Tourism is a possibility for serious investors as the central location of this village provides so many possibilities for daytrips to surrounding sights.
