Two-storey Bulgarian property located near the city Veliko Tarnovo.

The house we offer is located near the centre of the village of Nikyup, easily approachable through two asphalt roads on both of its sides. It offers 75 sq. m. of living area, providing a living room, a dining room, a kitchen and a larder on the first floor; an external staircase leads to the second floor, where two bedrooms, a larder and a small terrace facing the yard are disposed. Running water (inside and outside the mansion) and electricity connection are available; a telephone line can be installed upon your request. The property is brick built, with wooden floors, whitewashed walls and tastefully plastered outside. It is very well preserved and wouldn`t need a lot of renovations before it becomes suitable for living. As it is spacious enough it wouldn`t be a problem for our local team of builders to transform the inner premises and build new bathroom and toilet inside. The village of Nikyup provides all main amenities – a medical and a mobile service, a post office, a cable TV, regular transport to the adjacent settlements, a number of cafes and food shops. It is located within easy access to the towns of Veliko Tarnovo (24 km) and Gorna Oryahovitsa (19 km), offering a lot of modern conveniences. The village is famous for its ancient history. The archeological reserve of Nikopolis ad Istrum is situated at a distance of 18 km north of Veliko Turnovo on the main road E85 and 3 km southeast of the village of Nikyup. Emperor Trayan founded the City of Victory at the beginning of the second century in honour of his victory over the Dacians. Nikopolis was established on the fertile bank of Rossitza River and on a crossroads of important ways. The favourable location of the town brought it prosperity during the second to the fourth century. The territory of the ancient town covered the nowadays Veliko Turnovo district south of the road Byala – Pleven. It lasted till the end of the 6th and the beginning of the 17th century – in that period the town was devastated by the invasions of the Avars.
