ALREADY SEPTEMBER`S HOUSE OF THE MONTH!

Only a two bedroom but with lots of extra space. This two storey cottage has been renovated by its English owner to the highest standards – and he should know, he`s a carpenter!

Downstairs there is a very modern designed openplan fitted kitchen with gas hob and electric oven; an arch leading to the dining room. A wide hall houses the wood burner for the central heating system installed throughout the house. The living room is plenty big enough for an extra sofa bed if the house needed to sleep a couple more. The stairs are internal and a big feature in this house with the steps made from old castle stones and a wrought iron chandelier. Upstairs a landing leads to the two bedrooms and bathroom. Everything has been kept to the same high standard. A brand new asphalt road leads almost all the way to the house and the property has a barn at the front with large doors enabling secure parking.

The garden is still being finished but will house an 8 person jacuzzi-style tub – just enough to keep cool in the summer without the expense and work of maintaining a full sized swimmingpool. The garden will be finished before this is sold and will be lanscaped with a large stone terrace outside with picnic table and outdoor lights for garden parties.

The best thing about this house is the location. At the edge of the village of Kostandanec, a good village increasingly popular with the British. Right on the edge of the village next to the football pitch and beside the river, good crayfishin spot! If you like to walk in the nature than this is the place for you with many walks leading straight form your door, you need never even see a road let alone walk on one!
